Your data (GDPR)
If your site’s admin turns it on, ListoWP lets you take a full copy of your own data or remove it entirely. The export covers what you created; deleting also takes you off any shared Lists you were part of.
Where to find it
Open Preferences with the sliders button in the app header, or press 0. When the admin has enabled bulk export and delete, a Privacy box appears there with two options – Export my data and Delete my data. If you do not see them, the feature is turned off for your site and you can ask your admin about it.
Exporting your data
Export my data downloads a JSON file with your Lists and every Task you created, wherever it lives – shared Lists and your Inbox included. So the file makes sense on its own, it also includes the details of other people’s Lists that hold Tasks of yours, the columns of the exported Boards, and your basic account details. It is your own content throughout, gathered in one place so you can keep a copy or move it elsewhere.
Deleting your data
Delete my data permanently removes your Lists and every Task you created, along with anything tied to them, and clears your ListoWP preferences. It also takes you off every shared List you were a member of. Two things are worth knowing before you go ahead:
- A shared List you own is deleted for the whole team, together with the Tasks on it.
- Tasks you created on other people’s Lists are removed from those Lists too.
Because none of this can be undone, ListoWP asks you to confirm before it goes ahead. If you also want a copy first, export your data before you delete it.
