Preferences

Preferences are the personal choices ListoWP remembers as you use the app. Open the panel with the sliders button in the app header, or press 0. Nothing you set here changes what other people see.

The Preferences panel

Choices made in the panel are saved to your account, so they follow you to every browser and device you sign in from.

  • Hide completed – keep completed Tasks out of your Lists, or show them alongside the rest. On by default. Either way, the Closed Smart List still collects them.
  • Timezone – decides when deadlines expire for you. ListoWP adopts your device’s timezone automatically, so you rarely need to touch this. If you pick a zone yourself and your device later reports a different one – you travel, say – ListoWP asks before switching, and remembers if you decline.
  • Email notifications – a yes/no switch for the emails ListoWP sends when you are added to a List, assigned a Task, or get a comment. On by default; every notification email also carries an unsubscribe link that turns this switch off for you. The events themselves are described in "Notifications". If your site delivers notifications through PeepSo, this switch is not shown.
  • Privacy – Export my data and Delete my data, shown only when your admin has enabled them. See "Your data (GDPR)" for what they do.

The panel ends with a reference card of every keyboard shortcut. See "Keyboard shortcuts" for the same list with explanations.

Theme, display, and layout

How ListoWP looks is remembered per browser, not saved to your account, so each device you use can have its own setup.

  • Theme – light or dark, or match the page around ListoWP.
  • Display mode – inline in the page or fullscreen, or automatic.
  • Sidebar state – open or collapsed.

A browser you have never used ListoWP in starts from the site defaults your admin picked – the default display mode and color scheme. Once you change something on a device, your own choice always wins there.

Language

ListoWP speaks the same language as WordPress: your own language if you set one in your WordPress profile, otherwise the site language. There is no separate language picker inside the app.
