Sections

The Sections box on the General tab controls which of ListoWP’s two sections – Private and Cowork – are available to your users, and which one a new visitor sees first. You will find it in wp-admin under ListoWP.

Enabled sections

Choose which sections users can access:

Option What it does
Cowork & Private Both sections are available (the default)
Private only Hides the Cowork section
Cowork only Hides the Private section

Disabling a section hides it everywhere: the section itself, its switcher and its keyboard shortcut all disappear. Nothing is deleted – Lists and Tasks in the disabled section stay in the database untouched, and re-enabling the section brings everything back exactly as it was.

This is best done on a near-empty site. Existing work in a disabled section becomes inaccessible until the section is re-enabled, so make sure no active work is left behind before you switch one off.

Default section

Default section (Private or Cowork) decides which section opens when a browser visits the app for the first time. It only applies while that browser has no stored choice of its own; once someone switches sections, their device remembers what they last used and the default no longer applies to them.

Disabled-section hints

Several settings in the panel point at a specific section – Default section above is one, and so are the "Available in" scopes on Tasks features and Smart Lists. When a setting targets a section that is currently disabled, the panel shows a small hint next to it so you can spot the mismatch. Adjust either that setting or Enabled sections to resolve it.
